Check out that pork roast.

Spring Has Sprung!

The iris' are blooming along with the dogwoods and azaleas. I think Spring has finally arrived. It has been a long, cold winter.
It looks like we will have a lot of pears this year. Can you see the little bird nest made of pine straw?

E Y has planted over 20 azaleas this spring. The doghouse he built has been converted to a cover for our pump.

Spirea? The first time it has bloomed so much since we moved here.

The Dogwoods are beautiful this year.

Winter's Return

Is that snow?
This is what we came home to the day after our trip to Charleston.

It was too warm to stick on the ground, but covered most of the trees and shrubs.

It snowed all day. One minute the sun would shine, and the next it was snowing!

These are our friends from Church, Don and Shirley. We took a trip last weekend to Charleston.
We stayed in an RV park in Walterboro, SC. We also attended Church in Walterboro. There was the Flowertown Festival in nearby Summerville we went to on Sat. The weather was great.

Don, Shirley, and EY on the Battery in Charleston.

We took the carriage ride around town to see all of the georgous homes, especially on the waterfront.

A pretty yellow, roselike flower.

Spring has come to Charleston!

One of the many beautiful homes we saw.

I love those "porches".
